Among what seems to be a flurry of smartphones to come out of Samsung in the coming year is the Samsung Galaxy A9. New leaks and speculations about the device have emerged, hinting that the smartphone will don a very special feature.

As seen in a couple of live images out of China, the Galaxy device will sport a rotating camera, which looks like that of the Oppo N1. While it is rather advisable to take the report with a pinch of salt, it isn't all too impossible that users will see a movable camera in action in the handset.

The unit in the Oppo N1, which was released two years ago, was a 13-MP shooter that can spin to 206 degrees. Such unit allegedly provides better image quality compared to the standard ones and will be perfect especially for those who like their selfies looking more superior.

This Samsung Galaxy A9 could use such feature. It could even become its selling point. More and more users are hoping to see better cameras in the field as majority of releases almost always have the same megapixels and functions. In this aspect, the A9 will surely stand out.

The same leaked photos also showed that the purported Samsung device will put on the same design trademark used by Samsung. The pictured device was in red too. Prior to the leak, Samsung Galaxy A9 also starred in an AnTuTu benchmark test where it showed off some of its specs.

The handset was revealed to come in a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It apparently has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor driving it. That should pair up nicely with its 3-GB RAM and rather spacious 32-GB storage. The device, at least the one tested, had Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on board.

It remains to be seen when the Samsung Galaxy A9 will be unveiled but considering its predecessor just appeared in July, it looks like the tech world is still months away from its reveal.
