Saints Row 5: Deep Silver teases fans about game via Twitter

Saints Row series owner Deep Silver posted a teaser via Twitter, suggesting that a new title will be revealed Friday.

The tweet, which simply said "Something wicked this way comes," offered a very graphic give-away that it is pertaining to the Saints Row franchise.

The said project will be showcased for the very first time during the scheduled PAX Prime panel to be held in Seattle on August 29.

The game developer confirmed previously that there will be a panel for the upcoming North American event. Additional details include having voice actor Natalie Lander conduct a so-called "quiz show hour" which will then be followed by what they call as "exclusive gameplay, art, and details for an upcoming project from Volition."

Deep Silver's latest tweet significantly displayed the Saints Row logo, which could mean that the game franchise will be the main subject of the big reveal during the PAX event.

On the other hand, the PAX website also posted an invitation to the panel for Deep Silver.

The post said, "The developers behind the Saints Row franchise invite you to participate in a quiz show hour with Natalie Lander, the voice of Kinzie! At the end of the panel, we'll show you exclusive gameplay, art, and details for an upcoming project from Volition."

There are also several speculations stating that the fifth installment of the Saints Row franchise will be made available on the spot, together with other titles like Escape Dead Island, Dead Island 2, as well as Metro Redux.

The rights to develop the Saints Row games had been purchased by Deep Silver early in 2013 from the now defunct developer THQ, together with the Volition studio and the Metro IP.

The tweet could prove the speculation that Volition is scheduled to reveal the next installment of the Saints Row 4 released in 2014 during the PAX Prime event set this coming weekend.
