"Duck Dynasty" and "Live Original" teen star Sadie Robertson recently flew to Haiti with her mother Korie and sister Rebecca Lo as part of the Help One Now organisation. She initially planned to visit Haiti and spread some love to kids in need, but it turns out that the kids were more than eager to share their own slice of love and happiness to Sadie.

She even befriended one kid named Moses, and she shared a photo taken with him on her Instagram account (@legitsadierob). "I have this special place in my heart—only a few people have a place in it, and it's reserved for the people who have impacted me the most," she wrote. "Today this miracle boy nicknamed Moses made his way right to the center of my heart. His nickname is Moses, because he was found by a river. Abandoned. He doesn't trust many people, and doesn't let many people love him. Today, he allowed me to love him, and I earned his trust. We created a bond without speaking the same language."

Sadie said love goes a long way, and she is grateful that she got to share some of it with Moses. "I will never forget the sweet face of the precious boy I held in my arms for hours and hours who called me momma for the day," she further said.

Aside from Moses, Sadie also bonded with some older kids in Haiti. According to the reality star, these kids' optimism and zest for life should help people put their own lives in perspective. The massive 2010 Haiti earthquake claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, and many locals still live in poverty.

"If they can smile... you can smile. These are the types of smiles that will change your life," she wrote.
