Less than three weeks before the launch of "Persona 5," more pieces of information about the game find their way online. This time, it is all about the code names of the Phantom Thieves.

The ever-enigmatic protagonist refers to himself as Joker while Ryuji Sakamoto is codenamed Skull. Anne Takamaki doubles as Panther while Morgana goes by the codename Mona.

Yusuke Kitagawa functions in "Persona 5" as Phantom Thief under the name Fox, while Makoto Niijima likes to call herself as Queen. Futaba Sakura's alter ego is called Navi while Haru Okumura is Noir.

Developer Atlus also revealed new details about the palace. The studio provided a description (via Gematsu) for the location and teased that it is not what it seems at the outset. The description reads:

"The distinctly unique Palace hinders your path! It's a place that, at first glance, may seem like there is no way through, but by pressing the Circle button, you can climb scaffolds and walls, or jump across chandeliers."

Atlus also teased "exhilarating" new battles. "Persona 5" players now have at their disposal the Direct Command function, which can be activated with a press of a button.

"Strike the enemy's weakness and bring them down. And when a "1 More" is triggered, you can attack an additional time. Take advantage of the enemies' weaknesses to gain the upper hand in battle," the company explained.

At some point in the battle, players will a Shadow, which, if they talk to it in the right way, could be a persona for the protagonist.

Meanwhile, a new gameplay video for "Persona 5" has been released and it could be one of the strangest yet. In the 46-second clip, the protagonist was shown face down on the floor of a bathroom.

This was a result of the character dipping in the water of the public bath a little too long. This goes to show that in "Persona 5," players must be wary of the time they spend bathing.

"Persona 5" will be released Sept. 15 in and Feb. 14 in North America and Europe.
