The New York Knicks are now turning their attention to other players as they try to fill up their roster for the coming season.

With most of the big names already signed up, the spotlight now focuses on the players who were snubbed and most of them are veterans who are on the market.

Two names are reportedly on the list of the Knicks — Carlos Boozer and Kevin Serpahin.

Boozer played for the Los Angeles Lakers last season but was far from the player that brought him to stardom. His finest moments were with the Utah Jazz and a bit with the Chicago Bulls.

While the 33- year-old player can still hit those jump shots, his consistency has now come into question.

Boozer came off the bench for the Lakers and averaged 11.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game last season. Despite the dip, Boozer is still a veteran and with the right team, he could still show his true worth.

Aside from the Knicks, other teams who are reportedly interested in signing Boozer include the Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks.

Another veteran of interest to the Knicks is Kevin Seraphin, someone who is a lot younger than Boozer. The downside is that Serpahin doesn't exactly carry the offense that the Knicks could be looking for; despite the fact that the team will likely expect Carmelo Anthony to pick up much of the scoring load.

Serpahin didn't exactly get the chance to show his wares while with the Washington Wizards; although he can get the chance to do so in New York if he does get signed up.

Ironically, the Wizards as well as the Lakers are still interested in Seraphin.

The Lakers could use Seraphin to toughen up their defense, something that head coach Byron Scott has been known to focus on.

Hence, if the Knicks want both or at least one, they may have to act fast and avoid falling short yet again of getting key players for their 2015–16 NBA roster.
