Fall is finally here and while some fret over the official end of summer, the new season also marks a new line of films to be released in just a few weeks. The genres of these films have an interesting mix, with two sequels leading the charge.

First on the list is "The Transporter: Refueled," which marks the end of Jason Statham's reign in this successful movie series. Ed Skrein ("Game of Thrones") is now the new lead for the film, and although much has changed with the times – better cars, new technology, more dangerous packages, more street mayhem –  the Three Rules still apply.

"Everest" is also coming to the big screen on Sept. 18. With a powerhouse cast and a compelling narrative, this drama-adventure is a gripping film of human survival. The movie follows the story of two expedition teams that climb the treacherous slopes of Mt. Everest and find themselves pinned down by one of the worst snowstorms in history in the middle of the harshest environments known to man.

The second film in the "Maze Runner" series is also going to be launched this fall. "Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" will again keep moviegoers guessing what will happen next. Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) and his gang of maze survivors will find themselves in a new environment. Somehow the world outside is not as it seems as a new threat presents itself. Audiences must expect explosions, zombie-like creatures, and a lot of kids fighting authority.

Another must-watch film is "The Intern", a heartwarming drama about an advanced-in-age intern who finds himself working for an online fashion site managed by Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway). The story is about the difficult lives of people and the support they need from others around them to survive the tides of existence. The multi-generational cast adds flavor and natural humor to this very timely drama. The movie starts screening on Sept. 25.
