While it is unknown if rappers Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole are working on their rumored album, there are reports going around that its release was delayed once again.

According to reports, the hectic schedules of the artists won't give them the chance to get together and continue their work on the album.

There are rumors that Cole is already working on his fourth album, which should keep the rapper pretty busy. The most recent album he released was "2014 Forest Hills Drive," released in the indicated year.

The 31-year-old "No Role Modelz" singer was allegedly spotted in a recording studio putting together his next album. This started speculations that Lamar and Cole's joint album won't be here this year.

Apart from that, he is also headed to Johannesburg, South Africa this week for his "Castle Lite Unlocks J. Cole" concert, which he has been preparing for in the past weeks.

Lamar is currently involved with the Topps baseball cards, as the seven-time Grammy Award-winner is one of the celebrities featured in the said First Pitch cards.

It isn't a surprise to see Lamar and Cole struggle with this. After all, they are two of the biggest rappers of today. This is also the key reason why many fans are excited by the idea of the two teaming up.

Fans of both Lamar and Cole are thrilled to see what the brilliant minds of these two rap geniuses can churn out. Talks about their collaborative projects started back in 2012, when they were spotted working together in a recording studio.

Shortly after, Lamar teased that they will release the album without prior announcement of a release date. However, it looks like the Lamar and Cole are yet to finish it up.

If the album is ready, seeing that it's been four years since its existence was suggested, the rappers may simply be waiting for the right to, in Lamar's words, "drop that out the sky."
