Despite having announced their divorce in June last year, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have remained friends and are occasionally spotted together with their three kids.

The ex-couple were recently spotted leaving a restaurant in Brentwood, and according to The DailyMail's report last week, they were there to attend a lavish dinner with kids Seraphina, Violet, and Samuel.

The publication also released photos of the couple that day and it appears that they are in a good mood. The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor and the "Miracles From Heaven" actress reportedly continue to live together in their Brentwood mansion for the sake of their children.

News about Affleck and Garner spotted together would easily make one speculate that they are back together. Could the ex-couple be working toward fixing their relationship? Just last month, Radar Online reported, citing an insider, that the 43-year-old actress is hanging on to hope that she and Affleck will settle their differences and save their marriage.

"Jen really thinks there is a chance they can fix their relationship," the unnamed source told the publication.

However, Affleck reportedly doesn't share the same sentiment. "He wants nothing to do with getting back together," the news outlet's source continued. But, with Affleck "being good" and avoiding going out in public too much, Garner allegedly hopes that they could somehow make it work.

Since their breakup, Affleck and Garner's separation has always been the subject of news headlines. It's been almost a year and the reports about them spotted together continue to surface.

Early in January, they were seen together — without the kids — attending a funeral of a common friend. Over the holidays, several sources reported that the exes spent Thanksgiving and Christmas together with their kids.

Affleck and Garner's decision to put up a united front is clearly all for the children's sake.
