Concept designer Jason Chen created a new iPad Pro concept image that resembles the current iPad Air 2 with its sleek and stylish aluminum casing. Chen visualized the tablet as having ultra slim bezels, giving rise to a massive 13-inch screen display. It is 7.2 mm thick with a Smart Cover, and has a keyboard accessory and a special stylus. 

Other than concept images, the tablet, also coined as iPad Plus, has been the center of many speculations and rumors. For instance, the purported device was spotted in Chinese social media site Weibo and, based on the leaked photo, the tablet is thinner and lighter. And while it looks like the previous iPad, it is said to sport a screen of at least 12 inches with 2K resolution. The photo also shows that the tablet has four speaker grilles positioned on each corner of the device, and is allegedly powered by an 11,000 mAh battery. 

There is no indication on when the iPad Pro or the next iPad model would be released, but Apple will be hosting an event next week. Thus, there are those who are keeping their fingers crossed that the company would be showing off the bigger tablet during the upcoming event. 

Still, the press passes for the Spring Forward event provide no information on what particular device or devices are going to be discussed. Many believe that it would center on the Apple Watch which, according to Apple CEO Tim Cook, will be ready for shipping in April. 

At the moment, the Cupertino-based tech giant is still mum about its March 9 event, and even more about its upcoming products, including the next iPad.
