Singer Gwen Stefani might have fulfilled the dream of a boy and at the same time highlighted the issue of bullying when she called the unnamed boy onstage during her concert in Florida on Saturday.

The 46-year-old singer was doing her show at the Perfect Vodka Amphitheater in West Palm Beach when she was handed a poster by a mother, the Daily Mail reports.

She read what's written on the poster: "My son was bullied from first to fifth grade. He would come home every day upset, but he'd go to his room, listen to your music and smile."

After reading the message, Stefani invited the fan on stage, telling the boy to "get up here right now, right now."

There she raised both his arms and hugged him. The boy was clearly overwhelmed and struggled back tears.

Stefani invited the boy and her mom backstage after the concert to meet her sons Kingston and Zuma. They posed for a selfie which Stefani posted on Instagram with the caption "#cuteness."

The following day, she also posted the video of her reading the message and meeting the boy on stage on Instagram, which now has 818,000 views.

Stefani wrote that meeting the boy was the answer to her prayers.

"About 3 years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God every day that I could get a chance to use my gift that God gave me and make a difference in some way in this world," she wrote along with the video.

She added, "Last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers #zerotoleranceforbullies #onelove #thisiswhatthetruthfeelslike Gx."

Stefani is currently doing her U.S. tour to promote her album "This Is What The Truth Feels Like."
