Rockstar Games finally announced that details about the PC editions of "Grand Theft Auto 5" will be revealed next week, specifically the minimum and recommended specifications of the machine. The announcement came during the Q&A event of the game developer this week.
When asked by a fan about the progress of the game, the developer replied:
"We're presently in the final stages of development on the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V and hope to have confirmed official system requirements to share soon here at the Newswire, please stay tuned for that to be announced in the coming week. Thank you and we're very excited to bring GTAV to the PC gaming community!"
Rockstar also confirmed that progess on "GTA Online" can be transferred to the PC version. This proves to be amazing news for those who want to play the game but has no gaming consoles at home.
Aside from the PC edition, the game developer also mentioned that a new story DLC will be released in the coming days. This had been discussed since 2013 and it will finally see the light of day soon.
"For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V," according to an article posted on Rockstar Newswire, "We have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor's action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas."
But since this is Rockstar Games, "Grand Theft Auto" fans should expect that the said new "GTA" developments are likely to have a delayed release. This had been the case in the past installments of the popular open world, action-adventure game.
Aside from the "GTA" PC edition, the Q&A forum conducted by Rockstar Games also discussed the development of a new "Red Dead."
"As we've mentioned when asked in the past about new games in other series such as Red Dead Redemption, Bully and L.A. Noire, we don't always rush to make sequels, but that does not mean we won't get to them eventually. We have so many games we want to make and the issue is always one of bandwidth and timing."
