Some rumors have been spreading like wildfire regarding the Golden State Warriors, and the latest trade speculations are centered on Greg Monroe, as this 26-year-old center is expected to be traded by the Milwaukee Bucks.

According to Yibada, Monroe is considered to be one of the few players currently available on the trade market, and the Golden State Warriors seem like a good new home for him. With the Warriors signing in Kevin Durant to form a formidable team to once again compete for an NBA championship, they might need Monroe's aid.

After all, despite securing the front court with the addition of David West and Zaza Pachulia, the Warriors are still considered to be weak at the five spot after Andrew Bogut and Festus Ezeli made their exit. After all, Pachulia as well as Anderson Varejao and Damian Jones are the only true centers they have, so adding a veteran player like Monroe will ensure that the Warriors will have another versatile player for their team.

Monroe can be of help in both offense and defense, since he is considered to be a threat inside the paint while ensuring that his team mates will be able to make some astounding plays. Ultimately, should the team get Monroe, the Warriors will have a more or less solid chance of winning a championship on the upcoming NBA season.

However, the Parent Herald reports that regardless of the situation, the Golden State Warriors will face a lot of major hurdles once the new season starts. It is expected for the team to be strained in both sides, despite the presence of Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson.

With no official deal announcements just yet, fans should just wait and see whether or not Monroe will be traded to the Warriors.
