A new episode of "Girl Meets World" season 2 will finally drop in a matter of days but from what it looks like, viewers are not going to get answers about what happened in the three-part Texas special that aired last month.

The new episode titled "Girl the Meets Forgiveness Project" is shaping up to be one big family affair with Maya's father coming over. Unfortunately, he doesn't get the warmest of welcomes but instead gets shoved with a cake on his face prompting Topanga to ask, "Who is this guy?"

It isn't a mystery why Maya's father, whose name is Kermit, was received with little to no enthusiasm. As seen in the "Girl Meets World" season 2 promo, Maya's mom is understandably enraged and this is because after all these years, her husband decides to finally show up.

"Hello, Maya" Kermit greets his daughter. With a somber tone, she replies "Hey, dad." Apparently, even though Maya likes "to tell it as it is" and is normally a talker, it appears that only her father, who she just meets in what felt like forever, could only quieten her.

In promo images from the "Girl Meets World" season 2 installment, it looks like the father and daughter will get the chance to catch up and get to know each other. But them getting along is very well open to debate.

While it's difficult forgive to forget and the young lady's mind probably filled with questions, Maya will eventually get a start at letting off her father with a class project about forgiveness. Making herself feel like they are a family is another story though.

While it seems that things will be ironed out soon, Maya's life will never be the same after meeting the man who abandoned her responsibilities as her father. Kermit's return also invites challenges in Maya's mom relationship with Shawn.

"Girl Meets World" season 2 episode 23 "Girl Meets the Forgiveness Project" airs Nov. 6.
