Bethesda had already announced that the "Nuka-World" downloadable content (DLC) expansion pack was going to be the last DLC for their highly popular open world role-playing game "Fallout 4" and that they were going to be moving forward with new projects after its release. However, a new report now suggests that Bethesda may be working on something new for the game and that it could be a brand new DLC expansion pack.

According to the latest reports, the news had originally stemmed from an unknown app that was spotted on the game's official Steam page. What convinced fans that it was a possible DLC was the fact that the app was apparently placed under the DLC tab on the game's database.

While the app itself doesn't really provide any details on what it does, some reports have already started speculating on the possibilities.

Some reports have claimed that the unknown application may be for the game's possible virtual reality component, which may add a VR mode to the already released game. Other reports have claimed that it could, in fact, be a DLC expansion pack, but that it may be similar to the "Gun Runner's Arsenal" for "Fallout: New Vegas," in that it may only add new weapons to the game instead of new content or missions.

A report from iTech Post also claims that the app itself may be for the game's possible 4K graphics support.

Whatever the case may be, Bethesda's vice president of PR and marketing — Pete Hines — had already proclaimed that they were no longer going to be releasing any new DLC expansions for the game, so it would be unlikely that he would go back on his word and release a new DLC expansion anyway.

Some fans, however, don't really care if Hines would go back on his word as a new DLC for "Fallout 4" will probably be welcomed by most players.
