During the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Noah Wyle of "Falling Skies" was able to drop some spoilers about the 4^th season of the show. He said he got excited when he heard that the show got renewed for a final season too.

Wyle had a talk with BuddyTV and said, "So rarely in television do you get to choose your own ending and to give your fans a real sense of completion." He adds that for his personal satisfaction, he would like to see "these characters reach their natural conclusions."

When asked about the hybrid Lexi, he had this to say: "The small fraction of familial feeling that he has towards her is what allows him to put his guard down and not view her as the security risk she is."

Also at Comic-Con, showrunner David Eick revealed a couple of spoilers too. There will be "new variations on existing species, " he said.

"The Espheni are very immersed in genetics, the idea of altering, the idea of adapting, and corrupting, mutating. It's a terrifying idea, one that resonates. It does feel like a kissing cousin of where we are in real life," he added. "Hopefully it'll scare the s- out of you." This means that fans of "Falling Skies" can expect more human mutants and hybrid babies this season.

Meanwhile, halfway through the season, TVLine's Michael Auseillo spoiled the kiss between Ben and Maggie. When a fan asked when the kiss will be shown, Auseillo answered "In the time since you sent this in, that "dream" hook-up has already aired. But what if I told you a real lip-lock 'tween the two was on the horizon...?

At Comic-Con, the cast didn't reveal much about the love triangle, but Drew Roy had this to say: "It's one of the more special things we got to do on the show just because we had to pay special attention to our motives, to what we were doing and make sure it had a good payoff. Week-to-week, even inside one episode, you could be pulling for this part of the triangle or this part of the triangle."
