"Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F" is coming to theaters on Aug. 3.

The movie will have its official North American premiere on that date. It will be shown in New York, and fans should take note that they will be seeing the English-dubbed version of the movie on that date.

"Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F" will begin its limited screening immediately after the premiere. Fans who want to take part in the limited screening will want to carve out space on their calendars between Aug. 4 to 12 in order to see the film. FUNimation Entertainment will be releasing the film.

The premiere for "Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F" is shaping up to be quite an event. Voice actors Sean Schemmel and Christopher R. Sabat have already said that they will be attending the premiere, according to Franchise Herald. The actors provide the voices for Goku and Vegeta, respectively. Also expected to be at the premiere will be FUNimation founder Gen Fukunaga.

According to FUNimation Executive Vice President Mike DuBoise, reception of the new film has been better than expected. DuBoise said that tickets have been selling out much faster for "Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F" than they did for "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods," another movie from the franchise released earlier on.

As for the movie itself, "Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F" is expected to revolve around the highly-anticipated rematch between Goku, Vegeta, and the sinister Frieza.

According to Comic Book Resources, in the film, Frieza's army will mobilize to collect the Dragon Balls and use them to revive their leader. After Frieza is revived, he will seek out and attempt to destroy none other than the very Saiyans who caused his demise in the first place.

Tickets for the limited screening of "Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F" can be purchased at the official "Dragon Ball Z" website.
