Recent spoilers claim that the seventh season of ABC's "Castle" will feature a major time jump.

TV Line served a new set of spoilers for "Castle" season seven saying that the first episode of the new season will leap from where it left off in season six. The spoiler chat also revealed that Kate Beckett, played by actress Stana Katic, will take on her toughest case yet.

Rick Castle's bride-to-be Beckett will set off to get to the bottom of her fiancé's accident that halted their marriage and almost cost him his life. Kate will do some investigating on her own to find out who is behind the accident as she thinks that it was planned, according to show runner David Amman and fellow executive producer Andrew Marlowe.

In the final episode of the previous season, Castle, played by Nathan Fillion, was in a car accident on his way to his wedding. Although Castle survived, the marriage of the two was postponed.

Meanwhile two guest stars were confirmed to appear on the third episode of the seventh series titled "Clear and Present Danger". "Once Upon A Time" alumnus Chad Collins will appear as a guest star in the next season of Castle.

Reports say that Collins will play the role of Tom Talmadge the entrepreneur of a start-up technology company who encounters mysterious circumstances. His appearance in the show was confirmed in a tweet posted by the actor that says, "Had a blast shooting @Castle_ABC today. Thx for being hilarious scene padnahs @NathanFillion and @Stana_Katic. I shall do succubi research."

"Devious Maids" star Rebecca Wisocky is also set to appear as a guest star in the episode as Dr. Elena Sarkov, who is the lead scientist at a cutting-edge research lab, whom the team consults when a pool shark is murdered by a mysterious unseen force.

According to reports, Wiscocky's character is tightly guarded as the show is planned to shift back to its former structure of cracking cases each week.

Castle season seven will air at 9 p.m. September 29 on ABC.
