While there is no word on when the trailer of Zack Snyder's upcoming film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be playing, there are several rumors which indicate that it is just around the corner. According to Comicbook.com, there will be a number of movie trailers to be played during the Super Bowl XLIX, and the list just might include the highly-anticipated DC flick.  Other trailers expected to be shown during matchup between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks include "Jurassic World," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

While majority of superhero movie buffs and sports fans will be viewing the match on Sunday to witness the best of both worlds, there are some who are not convinced that the trailer will be shown during the Super Bowl match. Umberto Gonzalez (El Mayimbe) of Latino-Review stated on his Twitter account on Jan. 7 that the trailer of the superhero film will be playing alongside another one of Warner Bros.' movies, "Jupiter Ascending." "Jupiter Ascending," a space opera starring Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis, will strike theaters on Feb. 6.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is inspired by Frank Miller's graphic novel, "The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 and Part 2." Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck are the primary stars of the film as they will take on the roles of Superman and Batman, respectively. Gal Gadot will be appearing as the Amazonian warrior Wonder Woman from the island Themyscira, while Jason Mamoa, who is well known for portraying the Dothraki leader Khal Drogo, will make an appearance in the film as Aquaman. Other big names in the movie include Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, and Jeremy Irons. Jesse Eisenberg will be playing the intellectually gifted but malicious Lex Luthor and it has also been rumored that he will be making an appearance in "Suicide Squad."

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016.
