The creators are still keeping mum on specific details regarding season 2, but those who have read the manga are privy to some spoilers.

According to Movie News Guide, the Reiss family will be front and center in the next season, as the first part of the story will dwell on its history. As the kingdom's true royal family, they have the ability to transform into titans. Viewers will also see the clan's awesome power, as the members demonstrate their ability to manipulate mankind's memories.

Another aspect to watch out for is the introduction of the Beast. The ape-like titan is noted for its intelligence and the skill to control its kind. iDigital Times also reveals that season 2 will see more of Kenny Ackerman, protector of King Uri Reiss and Levi's uncle. As a member of the Military Police Brigade's First Interior Squad, he will play an important role in the story.

Meanwhile, Crossmap reports that FUNimation Entertainment has recently acquired rights to release "Attack on Titan Live Action" movies in the United States. Its CEO Gen Fukuga shared the news during the San Diego Comic-Con.

"FUNimation is honored to host the world premiere of Attack on Titan here in the United States with Toho. Attack on Titan is truly a worldwide phenomenon and we are excited to bring the live action movie to theaters across the Americas later this fall," Fukuga said.

Reports reveal that some of the scenes that have not been shown yet in "Attack on Titan" season 1 will be covered by the live action movies part 1 and 2. These footages will supposedly link the first season to the newest installment. As of this moment, three trailers have already been released on the live action movies, although still without English subtitles.
