WWE rumors, latest news: John Cena turning heel?

Is John Cena, the face of the WWE, turning heel soon? It's kind of hard to believe knowing Cena has always been a favorite despite some boos you can hear in the background each time he competes. Then again, being a heel could be a move that would be hard to imagine though he did have inklings of that role in the early parts of his career.

So how could Cena become a heel? Could he feud with someone currently being hyped by the WWE? How about joining the Authority? Or maybe even becoming a member of the rumored new Wyatt Family reunion? Anything is possible.

At the moment, Cena is the United States Championship. He has taken on all comers and is set to defend his title against the Bulgarian Brute known as Rusev at WWE Payback. Considering his storyline with Rusev is ongoing, that heel turn could happen but certainly not yet. Apparently this is because Rusev is one of the top heels in the WWE today.

But does John Cena have what it takes to be heel? Depending on how he acts out the role, it is possible. Top heel? Well that angle remains to be seen.

The last time he fought, it was against Sami Zayn. Everyone knows by know how Zayn got the worse end of that matchup and based on some observations, WWE fans have noticed some moves and instances where Cena seemed to be practicing heel moves. That includes taunts and holds which many can easily identify with the heels in the WWE.

Still and all, it could happen. Cena is open to the task and will certainly try to be one. On how successful he could be remains up in the air but Cena as a heel seems a bit off track at the moment.

For those who have not been paying close attention, maybe you can do what others have been observing – check out the maneuvers and mannerisms that Cena has been doing lately. Now if that doesn't lead you to believe that Cena could be a fine heel, well, the WWE may need to come up with something better if these heel-turn rumors are indeed true.
