Former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) wrestler Marty Jannetty got a short moment of fame when Stephanie McMahon mentioned him during a segment involving Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

McMahon's comments were something made in an effort to psyche out Reigns and Ambrose, detailing how former partnerships fell.

To those who are unaware, Jannetty was one half of "The Rockers" where he teamed up with WWE great Shawn Michaels. They formed one of the best tag team duos when the WWE was still known as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). The "Rockers" were never recognized as champions despite that October 1990 match in which they won over the "Hart Foundation" in a two out of three falls match.

Jannetty and Michaels split up in controversial fashion in 1991. Contract and financial disputes reportedly were the cause, with Michaels not really wanting to leave the WWF. It was here where Michaels turned heel and carried on as an individual wrestler. And everyone knows how Michael rose to fame.

Fast forward to that Raw mention, Jannetty took exception into something that didn't seem enough for him to come out with a reaction. It was a simple mention of the "Rockers" of old. In fact, other names mentioned were Randy Orton and Evolution as well as the Seth Rollins's betrayal of the Shield.

The alleged Facebook post is nowhere to be found, since Jannetty most likely took it down when it went viral. Here was what he actually posted: "Did that bitch just say what I think I just hurrd on RAW??? Steph…should I remind the world.all them kids might not be Hunter's. ??"

McMahon was obviously trying to build some fire between Ambrose and Reigns at the time which didn't really work. The two did have anxious moments at WWE Smackdown recently but still managed to work on the same page.

Could that be the case as well at WWE Fastlane when the two get it on with Brock Lesnar in a Triple Threat match?

The Triple Threat match is a number one contender's match involving Ambrose, Lesnar, and Reigns with the winner moving on to WrestleMania 32 and a chance to become WWE heavyweight champion.
