Microsoft will be present at the 2015 Mobile Word Congress and rumors have it that the company will be launching two new phones already using the Windows 10 operating system. The said handsets will be entry-level and mid-range models.

With the announcement, Microsoft has yet to unveil its flagship model. But the source continues that Microsoft does indeed have plans of launching their flagship phone but that will come a little bit later, probably before the first half of 2015 ends.

The last flagship phone that Microsoft released was the Lumia 930. It was unveiled during last year's Mobile World Congress but this year, entry-level and mid-range level phones will reportedly be shown instead.

In a related development, it looks like other companies are planning to reveal Windows Phone devices as well. The companies in mention are Acer and Samsung. Of the two, Acer has not necessarily made an impact in the mobile phone market but the company is hoping that their fortunes change with these new Windows Phones.

Going back to Microsoft, there is a chance that the phones that will be revealed in March would be a low-end Lumia 830 or the RM-1072.

If the rumor holds true, here are the specs that the Lumia 830 will most likely carry:

  • 5-inch 720p resolution display
  • Qualcomm 400 quad-core processor
  • 8G of internal storage
  • An expandable SD card slot
  • An 8.7 MP camera

According to previous reports, the RM-1072 could cost somewhere in the vicinity of $275.

With Microsoft said to be set to unveil a couple of handsets, speculations are that the RM-1072 would be one of them. As to the other one, there is no word yet on what that model would be.
