Last week on "The Young and the Restless," Ian caused a lot of damage at Newman with the Paragon Project. The hacking enabled the Abbots to buy a lot of the Newman family's assets, and this has also caused some strain over at Jabot. Kyle warned Billy that what he was doing wasn't right, and moreover, John wouldn't approve of him buying the Newman's assets.

Later on during the week, the truth about Ian was revealed, and Jack and Phyllis warned Summer about him. But Ian got in touch with Phyllis anyway to gloat and to tell her the reason why he's doing this—she and Victor are Jack's enemies, and so is he. He told her that he's not working alone and that someone who hates Victor is behind this, and that it's none other than Victor's son, Adam Newman, who is alive and well. Phyllis then went on to Newman and told Victor that his son is alive.

Upon learning that Adam was working with Ian on the Paragon Project, Chelsea told Adam that the only way that he could stay in their life is to tell everyone that he's Adam Newman, and not Gabriel Bingham. Adam told her that he was trying to shut down the Paragon Project, but Chelsea wasn't having it. Later, she went to Jabot and decided to tell Billy that Adam is alive. As Adam was the one who accidentally hit Billy's daughter with his car months ago, this was a shock to Billy, but he set out immediately, intent on killing the man whom he thought he has shot dead.

Billy found Adam at the Dive, who told him that what happened to Delia was an accident and that he was trying to turn himself in when Billy shot him. Victor arrived and, after saying hello to Adam, punched his son to the ground.

Oct. 5 (Monday): Nick asks Sage if she knew that Adam was alive all along, while Phyllis is angry that Jack has been lying to her about Adam.

Oct. 6 (Tuesday): Victor and Adam have a confrontation, while Nick and Sage's relationship hits a bump in the road. Billy reaches his limit.

Oct. 7 (Wednesday): Nikki shares unexpected news with Jill, while a trap is set for Neil.

Oct. 8 (Thursday): Chelsea is devastated, while Michael and Lauren's reconciliation hits a snag.

Oct. 9 (Friday): Devon takes a risk to get Hilary back, while Adam faces his future.
