The second DLC for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will finally come out on May 31.

Game developer CD Projekt Red confirmed that the Blood and Wine DLC will be shipped to the market by the end of the month.

In a report from IGN, game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz stated that "Blood and Wine makes 'The Witcher 3' complete -- it's Geralt's final mission. Containing more than 90 new quests, and over thirty hours of brand new adventures, it's something that I think gamers will remember for a long time."

The game director also revealed that the Blood and Wine DLC will come out with "a dynamic Point of Interest system, a new Gwent deck, new endgame mutation mechanics, and even a place Geralt can call home.... And it's all happening in a new region as big as No Man's Land in the base game."

The first DLC for "The Witcher 3," Hearts of Stone, came out in October 2015. It centered on the adventures of Geralt as he encountered an enigmatic entity called the Man of Glass as well as the immortal man called Olgierd. The first expansion pack earned a lot of critical nods, but the upcoming second expansion pack promises to have more exciting content than the first one.

Before the official announcement from the game developer, a player stumbled upon a Steam posting containing leaked information regarding the upcoming DLC. It mentioned that the Blood and Wine DLC will let users possess their own vineyard, dye their armors with different colors, and own a new Skellige-themed deck intended for the Gwent card game.

Players can start pre-ordering "The Witcher 3" Blood and Wine DLC as early as now for $17.99 on the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, and Steam. Or they can opt to buy the season pass, which includes both expansion packs for $24.99.
