Last week on "The Walking Dead," the hour focused on the Hilltop Colony, the community where Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) went after the harrowing season 7 premiere which saw the death of Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn (Steven Yeun). Though the two were still grieving the loss of their loved ones, Maggie and Sasha managed to rise up and help when a horde of walkers caused chaos all over the place.

A doctor told Maggie that her baby is fine, but her placenta has separated itself from her uterus, which makes her pregnancy very dangerous. She was advised to stay at the Hilltop and rest for the next few days. Later, Sasha took Maggie to Glenn and Abraham's graves, and Maggie said that she's still thinking about what they should do next.

When night fell, Maggie and Sasha saw that fires had been lit and that walkers were swarming the Hilltop. Maggie rode a tractor and started mowing down the walkers while Sasha tried to get into a car to turn off the loud music, which was attracting the walkers' attention.

Later, the Saviors, led by Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) right-hand man, Simon (Steven Ogg), paid the Hilltop a visit, and Gregory (Xander Berkeley) was about to tell them that Sasha and Maggie were hiding there. But Jesus (Tom Payne) hid them in a different place, and later, he told everyone that Gregory will be replaced as the leader of the community due to his cowardice. At that point, Maggie went up to Gregory, punched him in the face and said, "You're going to have to start using my real name. Not Marsha, not dear, not honey. Maggie. Maggie Rhee."

This Sunday, in the episode titled "Swear," someone stumbles upon a brand-new society, unlike anything that has been seen before.

In a sneak preview of the episode, a young girl spears a walker on the beach, and she appears to be perfectly happy slaying the infected.

"Not bad huh?" says the girl to her older companion, who looks slightly perturbed as she says yes. The little girl spots another walker near the shore, and just as she was to spear it, the older girl stops her from doing so. It appears that the person is still alive, and as the older girl pushed back the survivor's hair from her face, it is revealed that Tara (Alanna Masterson) is the one who ended up on the shores of the new place.

"She's not a bobber," said the older girl. "She's alive."

"The Walking Dead" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
