"The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U was originally scheduled to launch in 2015 but was pushed back to an undetermined 2016 release date. However, according to a recent report from Gamer Professionals, a recently leaked trailer may indicate that Nintendo will be making a big announcement regarding the game and its release window.

The trailer, which has since been dubbed the "First Draft" trailer, starts at the 40-second mark. It is now widely speculated that the first 40 seconds will showcase gameplay footage of the new game. The report points out that the producers of the ad, Creative Minds and Souls LLC., may be waiting for gameplay footage from Nintendo. 

What is shown, from the 40-second mark onward, is a marketing sketch focusing on the relationship of a father and his daughter. The end of the trailer emphasizes on the nature of "The Legend of Zelda" coming from the older generation of gamers and now being passed on to the younger generation of today.

More importantly, the video shows the "Legend of Zelda" logo without any subtitle, indicating that this is indeed for "The Legend of Zelda Wii U" and now the Wii-U HD remaster of "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess," which is set to release this March. 

The ad also states that the game is also for the Wii U only, with no indications that it may release on the upcoming Nintndo NX. However, a recent report from Forbes indicates that Nintendo should re-consider releasing the new game on the NX instead given that the console is set to launch by next year and due to low Wii U sales.

Unfortunately, the video does not showcase a specific release window for "The Legend of Zelda Wii U." At the time being the game is expected to launch by the second half of this year, allowing "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" to enjoy the market before the new game takes over.
