The Bazingas are back!Facebook

Prepare your Chinese takeout tonight as the Bazingas return for "The Big Bang Theory" season 8.

The plot of the special two-part back-to-back episodes for the season 8 premiere will take off 45 days after the events that happened during the season 7 finale.  Fans will remember that Sheldon left on a train to run away after being overwhelmed with all the changes occurring in his life.

The new episode, dubbed as "The Locomotive Interruption," will show that his trip turned out to be unsuccessful, and he had to call Leonard to pick him up in Arizona after all his stuff were stolen while he was napping at the sleeper car.

Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Balik) will also start the season with a little hiccup in their relationship, which seemed to be going smoothly when Sheldon kissed Amy for the first time in season 7. She will be a little hurt from the fact that he called Leonard first to pick him up from his failed trip, but executive producer Steve Molaro assures fans that it won't last long.

He shared to TV Guide, "The good news is that is a conversation that is had and addressed in a fairly sweet moment."

Penny (Kailey Cuoco-Sweeting) will also debut her new pixie 'do and new job as a pharmaceutical representative in episode one of season 8. Bernadette (Melissa Raunch) helped her land a job after being fired from the movie set that she was working on last season, and it will take her mind off acting for a while. However, Leonard might have some issues with Penny's new job, worrying about her newfound self-confidence.

On a happier note, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Emily (Lara Spencer) will start the season still together, and it seems that it will stay that way for a long time. Molaro also divulged to TV Line that Emily's personality will be explored further in season 8, and fans fill find out who she really is.

Finally, the second episode of the season premiere titled "The Junior Professor Solution" will show that Sheldon will be forced to take a teaching job, where Howard (Simon Helberg) decided to enroll in.

The two-part back-to-back episodes of "The Big Bang Theory" will be aired tonight, Sept. 22 on CBS. If you miss tonight's premiere, the episode will be available to watch online via live stream on CBS.
