A Texas teen became an overnight internet star after she got fired from her pizza job before she even started because of a ranting tweet.

The girl, who goes by the Twitter username (@cella_) was supposed to start working at Jet's Pizza in Mansfield, but she wasn't thrilled about it.

So unenthusiastic was she about her new employment that she vented out her frustrations in Twitter and wrote, "Ew I start this f*** a** job tomorrow," followed by several thumbs down emojis.

Little did she know it, but that tweet would be seen by the franchise owner Robert Waple and he responded via the same social media platform, "No you don't start that FA job today! I just fired you! Good luck with your no money, no job life!" 

Cella seemed unaffected by the response as she later tweeted, "I got fired over Twitter."

What's surprising is that many people saw Cella as the victim and admonished the franchise owner over his tweet.

"They did her a favour by firing her and making her famous," a Twitter user said. "Good to see mostly support for @cella_. Biggest unprofessional was the best," another tweeted.

For its part, Jet's Pizza issued a statement to Fox News saying that it "regrets to see the manner in which the situation has been handled by both parties involved."

"The location in question is an independently owned and operated franchise store. Jet's America, Inc., as the franchisor, cannot dictate the employment practices or decisions of independently owned and operated franchise businesses," a spokeswoman for Jet's Pizza's corporate office added in the statement.

There was another tweet reportedly posted by Waple, but it has been deleted. "Working register, taking phone orders, making subs/salads. Eating free pizza. How hard would that have been?" the tweet allegedly read.

Since the incident, Cella has received over six thousand followers. She has also been retweeting most of her fans' tweets, saying she's famous in different parts of the globe.
