Will the world finally see the launch of the Sony Xperia Z5 next week? 

Fans of Sony Mobile gadgets should expect to hear an announcement about a new smartphone from the company at the upcoming IFA 2015 event in Berlin early this September. The official Sony Xperia Twitter account in the U.K. revealed Tuesday a blurred photo of a cityscape with an equally blurred handset. But based on the caption, the upcoming device will come with a better camera focus upon its release. 

The tweet sparked speculations that Sony will be unveiling their next flagship smartphone called the Xperia Z5 during the said international electronics and consumer products convention. 

The Xperia Z5, rumored to be the next-generation flagship smartphone from Sony, allegedly comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset under its hood as well as a 32 GB internal storage with 3 GB of RAM. 

Earlier speculations also claimed that the upcoming device will have a powerful 20.7-megapixel primary camera at the back as well as an 8-megapixel secondary shooter in front. The Xperia Z5 is rumored to come with a fingerprint reader as well.  

Other rumors say that Sony will also reveal two other devices under the Xperia Z5 product line, namely the bigger Xperia Z5 Plus that was recently leaked online, as well as the smaller Xperia Z5 Compact device which comes with a 4.7-inch screen. 

However, TechRadar speculates that Sony could also be referring to a different Xperia device other than the Xperia Z line. NDTV also revealed that the reference to the "greater focus" could be a reference to the Hybrid AF technology that combines the contrast autofocus systems and phase detection features that came with the recently released Xperia M5.

At the moment, Sony Mobile remains mum about what the company will actually reveal during the IFA 2015 on Sept. 2.
