Shelley E Johnson releases 'Power of the Cross'

Shelly E Johnson has released a brand new EP, Power of the Cross.

It's her label debut with LifeWay Worship/Maranatha Music.

The collection is made up four songs - All Things Beautiful, Power of the Cross, Refuge and Hallelujah Forever.

All Things Beautiful is the first single release from the EP.

Speaking about the track, Johnson says: "The message of this song has been burning in my heart for some time.

"I become overwhelmed by all the suffering in the world, and when I try to reconcile this in light of the loving and all-powerful God, I am simply left shaking my head, asking 'Why?' This song is my response to that desperate question.

"I can confidently place my hope in Christ because I know His plan is perfect and that one day He will redeem, restore and make all things beautiful."
