Xbox One owners will soon be able to finally get their hands on "Rocket League."

Recently, a fan posed a question to "Rocket League's" official Twitter account, asking whether there was already a concrete release date for the game's Xbox One port.

In response, the game's developers said that the game is already in the midst of getting certified and that "mid-February" remains their target release window.

Prior to the exchange, Psyonix, the game's developer, had already announced that the Xbox One port of "Rocket League" would be coming in February, although a specific date was not given, VG 247 reported.

At this point, it would seem that the Xbox One version of "Rocket League" is on track to meet its mid-February launch date, and fans will certainly be hoping that is the case.

The Xbox One port of the game will be largely similar to the currently available ones, save for a few additions and subtractions.

Starting with the additions, the newest version of "Rocket League" will feature content that will be exclusive only to Xbox One owners, GameSpot reported.

Examples of these Xbox One-exclusive items include new content that will take inspiration from some of the console's most successful franchises such as "Halo" and "Gears of War."

On top of that, the Xbox One port of "Rocket League" will also be bundled together with some of its earlier expansion packs. That means that players will also have access to the content featured in the "Chaos Run," "Revenge of the Battle-Cars" and "Supersonic Fury" expansion packs.

Unfortunately, the Xbox One version of "Rocket League" will not be featuring cross-platform play, meaning its available pool of competitors may not be as deep as the ones featured in the PlayStation 4 and PC ports of the game.

More news about the Xbox One version of "Rocket League" should be made available in the coming weeks.
