'Pretty Little Liars' season 6 spoilers, plot: I. Marlene King promises 'no more lies' in revealing A' identity in finale

ABC Family

Will the fans of "Pretty Little Liars" finally get all the answers that they deserve before season 6 takes a midseason hiatus?

Series executive producer I. Marlene King has said that "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 will be the "summer of answers." But, as pointed out by IBTimes, given her history of giving false hopes to fans, it would be somewhat hard to take King's words at the moment.

But in her Twitter account, the executive producer said that there will be "no more lies" in the upcoming episodes before the summer finale. She confirmed that fans will finally get to know more about Charles as the Liars finally discover A's real story.

King also revealed more teasers about A's game plan that viewers will see in the coming episodes, saying: "As we get closer to the end, A get's more and more ballsy. #FAceToFace"

However, before the big A reveal happens in the midseason finale of "PLL" season 6, the Liars will first get to enjoy their final prom together despite the setback that stemmed from Charles/ A's plans. Based on the synopsis and the recently leaked photos for the penultimate episode before the summer finale, the Liars' last high school prom will be something that will be hard to forget.

In the episode titled "Last Dance," the Liars will be banned from attending Rosewood High School's prom for security reasons. But their mothers will not allow the girls to miss one of the most important events in a young girl's life, which is why they will prepare a full prom set-up in the Hastings' barn. But knowing what Charles/ A can do, he can still turn a supposedly romantic, fun-filled night into an evening of horrors.

Still, some of the fan-favorite couples will be featured in the upcoming episode, including Spencer and Toby as well as Arya and Ezra.

The summer penultimate episode of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 airs Aug. 4, while the summer finale titled "Game Over, Charles" will air on Aug. 11.
