Martha Velasco, an employee with the Moody Clinic in Brownsville, Texas, poses with a few of the 750 potted poinsettias that are ready to be picked up by those who purchased the traditional Christmas plants.

The plants are being distributed at the town's First United Methodist Church as part of a poinsettia sale that was sponsored by the Rotary Clubs in Brownsville.

All of the proceeds from the sale will be going to the Moody Clinic, which is a therapeutic rehabilitation centre for children with special needs.
