Due to the successful run of "Orphan Black" series, the hit TV show will be turned into a comic book and will be released in 2015.

If there are small screen adaptations of some comic book series, there are also instances that it happens the other way around. This trend is nothing new; some series were transformed into comic books such as "Arrow", "Flash" and "Agents of SHIELD".

According to a report, the comic book will be penned by IDW Publishing. IDW Chief Creative Officer and In-Chief Editor, Chris Ryall, praised Tatiana Maslany for her superb performance in the series. Clearly, the editor is a fan and was enthralled by the series and praised how the previous season further expands the mystery in the series.

It is claimed that the comic book will feature the same episodes as with the first and second season.

The production company Temple Street Productions behind Orphan Black has also praised the new series. Managing director John Young has described IDW's previous work as "impressive".

Meanwhile, the third season of "Orphan Black" is reported to come back on air in the spring of 2015. Moreover, the filming of the next season just started and spoilers will surely start to emerge.

Renewing the show for another season by BBC is not surprising after the successful run of the first and second season of the series. Moreover, the series proved to be one of the most successful series in television and has garnered international awards.

Its prime character Tatiana Maslany received a Golden Globe nomination and honors from the Critics' Choice TV Awards, TCA Awards and Canadian Screen Awards. Thus, it is not surprising that producers opted for another season of the series. According to reports, 10 episodes have been confirmed so far and Tatiana Maslany will still play the main character with multiple clones.
