Players can start purchasing a physical copy of "Ori and the Blind Forest," almost two months after the digital version was released. Developer Nordic Games is releasing the boxed version with the help of Microsoft and Moon Studios, promising it to be the "physical representation it deserves."

"Since we released Ori and the Blind Forest, we've received many mails, tweets and requests from fans asking for a boxed retail release, so we're extremely pleased to finally make everyone's wish come true," Moon Studios CEO Thomas Mahler said in a press release.

The retail version of "Ori and the Blind Forest" will come in a Definitive Edition, which includes extra content. This edition comes in two versions—Standard and Limited Edition. The Xbox One is just getting the latter.

In the Standard version of "Ori and the Blind Forest" priced $20, gamers are getting a quick start guide and a poster of the game wrapped together in "premium packaging."

The Limited Edition of "Ori and the Blind Forest" includes everything that comes with the Standard edition, although bundled in a steelbox and there's one more poster and a couple of postcards. In addition, it comes with a copy of the game's soundtrack.

The "Ori and the Blind Forest" Definitive Edition comes with a new one-life mode (it generates the final statistics) as well as a new mode harder difficulty.

The easy mode, which has been challenging to complete, finally lives up to its label. With the "Ori and the Blind Forest" Definitive Edition, the enemy and environment damage is made smaller and while the number checkpoints is increased.

Lastly, it will offer additional in-game content including a new area, and two new abilities for the protagonist including a dash move. The spirit wells can now be used to acquire fast travel points apart from static save points.
