Fresh off a career-defining win at the NBA Finals, Steph Curry is back on the court showing off his shot, but doing so this time for "NBA 2K16."

In a feature for USA Today, Curry showed up for his motion-capture session for the game decked out in the unique suit known to many NBA players. Curry's suit is filled with numerous markers designed to track every movement, no matter how small, in an attempt to fully encapsulate the brilliance of the NBA MVP's on-court movements.

In total, Curry spent around 30 minutes shooting, dribbling and pulling off various other moves on the hard court located in 2K Sports' motion capture studios.

Curry will be one of the three current NBA players set to be featured on the cover of "NBA 2K16." The other two players are James Harden of the Houston Rockets and Anthony Davis of the New Orleans Pelicans. All three players also finished in the top five of the voting for the previously concluded season's MVP award.

Other athletes who have graced the cover of the "NBA 2K" franchise include four-time leage MVP LeBron James, 2013-2014 MVP Kevin Durant and even former Chicago Bulls great and current Charlotte Hornets owner, Michael Jordan.

In related news, "NBA 2K16" will reportedly feature new animations for post players when it is released, according to Latin Post.

The people behind the game are working on introducing 32 new different backdown animations in the post to help diversify the gameplay. The new moves are also designed to help provide bigger players in the game a more distinct advantage due to their height.

"NBA 2K16" features the work of acclaimed director Spike Lee. In the past, the franchise has called on notable musicians such as Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams to help generate more buzz for their releases.

"NBA 2K16" will be released on September 29.
