Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat will no longer be able to play for the team now that his pre-season physical results showcase that he is unable to continue due to health concerns. However, there is still a window for other NBA teams to pick him, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly interested in trading him in.

In an official announcement by ESPN, Bosh had failed his pre-season physical, and while it was not explicitly stated, fans have generalized that it may be due to his recurring problem with blood clots. The player had been benched in the past due to blood clots in his calves and in his lungs.

While the Heat are writing him off, Bosh himself believes that his time in the NBA is not over yet and that his career still has ways to go.

"I know inside me I have a lot of talent and a lot of ability. I have it. I know I have it. It wasn't a matter of if I play again; it was when. So we took the bull by the horns," he explained, hinting that he may still play in a future season of the NBA.

Sportsrageous now points out that the Cleveland Cavaliers, the current champions, are interested in picking him up, but this won't happen until February due to legal restrictions. If this trade does happen, then Bosh will be reunited with former teammate LeBron James.

According to the report, Bosh may be taken in as a back-up for Kevin Love or may even be promoted as the starting center for the team, but only if his health would allow it. Bosh, in his last active season, managed to play over 50 games before he was benched due to blood clots.
