"Naruto Shippuden" has been taking a detour from the manga's current storyline for almost a month now, and a lot of fans might be disappointed with the upcoming episode 464, since it might feature another filler. This episode will come out on June 9.

Instead of the episodes being based from the events in the manga, the recent episodes have expanded Kaguya Otsutsuki's backstory. According to a report from Saiyan Island, this trend will still continue up until this week's episode. As such, the history of this intriguing figure will see a conclusion once episode 464 is out.

This latest episode, titled "Ninshū," which translates to "Ninja Creed," will start as Hagaromo explains more about "Ninshū" after getting out of Madara's body. With this, fans can expect to see more backstories and flashbacks, as well as more deviations from the manga's story. This will be especially disappointing to impatient fans who want to get back to the fight already.

Regardless, they might just need to wait for one more episode; after all, once this episode is done, the story will certainly go back to the manga events based on the current progression. The upcoming episodes will hopefully get back to the fight and feature Naruto and Sasuke's eventual victory in their fight against Kaguya.

"Naruto Shippuden" fans have been speculating that the current canon of the anime is done. Nonetheless, some of them even believe that the current season is almost over. But with the unpredictable nature of anime, they can only wonder how it will end.

This anime is the anime adaptation of the "Naruto" manga from volume 28 onwards. TV Tokyo has aired this anime since Feb. 15, 2007 and was developed by Studio Pierrot and directed by Hayato Date. The first English dub for this anime was released on Disney XD for its North American audience on Oct. 9 2009.
