Micro-Star International, the Taiwanese electronics company that is famous for manufacturing and distributing PC gaming paraphernalia, teased PC gamers with its 18.4-inch Full HD gaming laptop named GT80 Titan. The company has now officially released its "top of the line" mobile gaming behemoth that not only possesses a dual mobile GPU configuration belonging to NVIDIA, but also features a full mechanical keyboard layout.

As for the remainder of the hardware specifications; they are equally impressive. Featuring Intel's Core i7-4980HQ Haswell that is supplemented with two GeForce GTX 980M 8 GB in SLI mode, mobile gamers will be able to immerse themselves in fluid high definition gaming sessions, which is rarely possible on gaming laptops. In addition, the MSI GT80 Titan also features 24 GB of DDR3L RAM, and allows for a total amount of 32 GB to be incorporated to the laptop.

As for storage specs, MSI has bundled up the best of both worlds. With up to four solid-state drives, it can be configured inside the laptop for maximum performance as well as a 1 TB 7200 RPM hard drive to store high capacity content. The most outstanding perk of owning the GT80 Titan is that mobile gamers will no longer have to settle for a rubber dome keyboard configuration because MSI's collaboration with SteelSeries has allowed it to add a fully operational mechanical keyboard layout to the machine.

The only downside to this layout is that it will not only increase the overall thickness of the laptop, its weight will increase as well (the GT80 Titan weighs 4.7 Kg). The remainder of the specifications include a Qualcomm Atheros Killer Gigabit Ethernet port as well as a wireless adapter that supports the Wi-Fi 802.11ас wireless standard. Moreover, modern interfaces like USB 3.0 ports, a mini DisplayPort and an HDMI port have also been assimilated to the gaming laptop.

According to MSI, the starting price of the GT80 Titan is extremely steep at $3,299. Gamers will also receive the option to purchase an even faster model featuring a Core i7-4940MX processor for $3,499. No physical or hardware changes will be made to the expensive model other than upgrading the processor.
