Michelle Duggar admits 'love is in the air' and the younger children are saying 'Oh no, they're kissing again, oh my!'

There sure is an awful lot of kissing going on in the Duggar household these days, and it's not just recently married Jill and Jessa Duggar who are at it.

Mum and dad Michelle and Jim Bob seem just as happy to lock lips for the camera as their kids.  And Michelle revealed in a recent blog post that the family are soaking up all the romance - even if it's a little harder for the younger ones to cope with!

"It's just so sweet to watch these guys and girls that are really in love. Love is in the air and it's good for all of us to be around that, even if the little siblings have to go, 'Oh no, they're kissing again, oh my!'" she wrote on the family blog.

The post was written in response to a question from a 19 Kids and Counting fan on the family's Facebook page, asking how Jill was adjusting to married life.

Michelle revealed it had been a "very smooth transition" for Jill and Derick, what with all of her siblings pitching in to help them move into their new home and get set up.

A bigger adjustment for Jill has been getting used to being in a completely silent house while her husband is at work.

"She's so used to studying with noise. It's really unusual for her to work in total silence," said Michelle.

She and Jim Bob also make sure to include Jill and Derick in all of their family events, like birthday celebrations, and the newlyweds join in when they can.

As her mother, Michelle revealed her own joy in seeing Jill and Derick start out in life together following their June wedding.  The couple are already expecting their first child, a boy, who is due in March.

"It was truly the joy of her life to marry Derick and they both feel so blessed to have each other. They are just really, really happy to be married and enjoying married life," she said.

"It's so special to watch these budding relationships blossoming. I know God's going to use that love to help them stretch in ways that they might not otherwise try, because that's the good thing about marriage. It really does stretch us and helps us to become the person that God would want us to be. You're much more willing to get out of your comfort zone when it's with somebody that you deeply love."

Jill and Derick may be loved up but they've largely stuck to sharing pictures of Jill's baby bump or of them hanging out together.

Jessa and Ben on the other hand can't seem to get enough of each other's lips after tying the knot a few weeks ago in front of a thousand guests.

They made headlines with their decision to shun the traditional wedding day kiss at the altar and left the sanctuary at that moment to have their first kiss in private.

But since then, they've been more than happy to make their kissing very public, sharing photos on Instagram, including one that stirred up criticism because it was deemed by some to be an inappropriate level of affection to share publicly.

Michelle and Jim Bob responded to the criticism by posting their own version of the photo and inviting married couples to post their kissing photos to their Facebook page.
