While Mass Effect 3's single player campaign was given mixed reviews concerning the fate of the protagonist, Commander Shepard, as he attempts to rid of the galaxy of the malicious race known as the Reapers, its online multiplayer component was given significant levels of praise. Now, according to Chris Wynn, who is the Senior Development Director for the upcoming game, states on his Twitter feed:

"If anyone is concerned that online will take away from single player, I assure you that SP will be MASSIVE in the next Mass Effect."

When he was conversing on the micro-blogging website with a player who did not want a multiplayer element to be present in the game, Chris responded by saying "keep in mind that many people do." When asked jokingly if the executive would be taking care of the game while keeping in mind of the gaming community, Chris replied by saying, "I promise and will even pinky swear."

Furthermore, according to Aaryn Flynn, the general manager at Bioware, the upcoming title will not be taking advantage of the other games that the studio has developed, namely the open world role playing title "Dragon Age Inquisition."

On NeoGAF, the general manager states that:

"The next Mass Effect will be (and should be) drawing on its own rich and successful past more than what DAI would say it should do. Take the Mako, something we've already shown in prototype form. We had that in ME1, and bringing it back is more related to a feeling that we can do it much better than we did before and fulfill the original promise of that gameplay."

Even though Mass Effect 4 does not have a confirmed release date, fans should be looking out for Q1 2016. It can also be expected that a brief demo of the game will be showcased at this year's E3 event.
