The silence behind "Longmire" season 4 is deafening. Back then, right after the show was pulled off the air, fans were clamoring and making so much noise to get the show back up. Now that the series has been picked up, no one knows any hint or clue as to what will come in season 4. 

It has been a while since a solid spoiler or update about the show's fourth season came out. But then again, this is purely the intention of the writers behind the show. They really want to keep the spoilers down low and prepare the audience for a huge surprise. 

Here is what everyone knows so far. One, filming is going to start soon, in March to be exact. This could mean that at this very moment, the writers are still polishing the materials they have for the upcoming season. This could also be the reason why spoilers aren't going around yet. Rest assured, when filming starts, "Longmire" won't be able to stop fans from spreading a word or two about the new season. 

Next, season 4 is rumored to premiere this summer. Why take that long? "Longmire" is following a new format now with Netflix, so they need a lot of time to complete all the episodes as this is how Netflix rolls. 

Then there's one thing that fans of the show recently learned: that actress Kate Sackhoff is just as excited as everyone else. On her Instagram account, she posted a throwback picture of her together with Robert Taylor, the sheriff in the show. It was captioned, "It's a #TBT to get everyone excited for season 4 of #Longmire on @Netflix" 

Meanwhile, "Longmire" actor Adam Bartley is encouraging people to help "Witches of East End" find a new home. With the show being cancelled in A&E, Bartley knows the feeling. 

On his Twitter account, he wrote, "Support my girl @auntwendythecat (Longmire's Deena) and her show #WitchesOfEastEnd sign the petition!" 

Hopefully, there will be new updates about "Longmire" season 4. As said earlier, the silence is deafening.
