LG G3 Beat/S to release soon but no word for US launch date

The LG G3 smartphone is currently rolling out in the US although it was announced for quite some time.

Reports stated that the company is working on a miniature version of its latest flagship phone and will be launching the device in Asia and Europe soon. However, it seemed that its US release were not included in the grapevine.

The miniature LG G3 is nicknamed as LG G3 Beat or LG G3 S. The smartphone is also reported to be a smaller, less powerful and budget-friendly version of the full-fledged LG handset.

The smartphone is not a myth as it was spotted in many occasions. Android Central reported that LG G3 Beat was seen in a trade exhibition in China. Moreover, the Indian website Sulekha.com has also reported that LG G3 Beat was unveiled in India and will hit the shelves of store in no time.

In addition, LG Germany confirmed that a smartphone named LG G3 S, which resembles a smaller LG G3, will be released in the market in August. Lastly, the second biggest phone seller in Russia, Svyaznoy, is currently offering pre-orders for the LG G3 S on their web site. The website also revealed the full specs and features of the device. It is clear that the smartphone is targeting emerging markets.

According to reports, the LG G3 Beat or LG G3 S packs a 5-inch 720p screen display, 8MP back camera with LED flash and laser focus system paired with 1.3MP front-facing camera. The device is also reported to boast a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and will run with the most recent Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS.

Meanwhile, consumers can get hold of the LG G3 smartphone through AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon for $99 to $199 with two-year lock in period. The smartphone can be bought for $579 to $600. The LG G3 gained popularity due to its fair specs and features.
