Joey Feek continues her difficult battle with cervical cancer, but she and her family are not letting the struggle completely take over their lives.

Feek's husband Rory shared a photo to their Facebook page of the 40-year-old country singer spending her final moments with things that make her happy. The country singer also got a surprise visit from some cute puppies and her 23-month-old daughter Indiana.

....some baby puppies came to play with Indy the other day, but I think her mama loved their visit the most.

"Some baby puppies came to play with Indy the other day, but I think her mama loved their visit the most," the other half of the Joey+Rory country duo said.

Joey seemed to be enjoying the company of her furry pals that were brought by one of their family friends to play with her daughter.

Rory also posted a heartwarming post on their blog on the same day, talking about the significance of the "+" sign in the name of their musical group and in their lives.

"When we found out we had made it through the first round of auditions, they asked us what our stage name was going to be. I told Joey that I think we should tell them 'Joey+Rory,' because that's what it actually was... You + Me = whatever this is going to be," Rory wrote.

The singer-songwriter also revealed that he later realized that there was more to the plus sign than the math. They subconsciously included God in their name when they began their musical career in 2008, according to Rory.

"It was faith that we added – a willingness to trust Him and be okay with whatever He had in store. I think that's where the power is," the country singer wrote.

But Rory also said that the most amazing result of the plus sign in their life is their little daughter, who they fondly call Indy.

At the moment, Joey is spending her final days with by Rory and Indy in hospice care after being diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2015.
