Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard are ready for the imminent arrival of Baby Dilly.

Derick spent Wednesday putting in the car seat ahead of the birth.

Baby Dilly's due date has finally arrived, but Jill of 19 Kids and Counting said that the latest addition to their family is not quite ready to make his appearance yet.

She told PEOPLE that she is "planning on the baby coming late" and that it is no big deal. "If you have it in your head that way, you won't get discouraged."

Jill added that fans need not worry because she is "feeling great" despite experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions. The expectant mum also revealed that she actually has two due dates for Baby Dilly - March 24 and April 5.

"I have told myself, 'First-time mums often go a week and a half over, so don't get discouraged,'" she said. "When everyone else is asking you, 'When are you going to have that baby?' The baby will come when the baby comes."

During her pregnancy, Jill has been studying to become an official midwife and is expected to take the exam later this year. She said that studying about the whole birthing process has become doubly meaningful especially since she is carrying a baby in her belly.

"It is really exciting to be studying this when pregnant. It takes on a whole different light when you are studying about what you are going through," she shared.

Her husband Derick Dillard is beyond excited about the arrival of his son and has been treating Jill like a queen. "He is so sweet," she said, sharing that Derick gave her a foot massage and even painted her nails the night before.

"He asked me what colour I wanted, and we decided on pink nails. He picked out a bright pink and he said, 'Here we go – this will be your labour colour,'" said Jill.

Derick posted a picture of himself and Jill gearing up for the arrival of Baby Dilly on his Instagram account (@derickdillard). In the photo, Derick is wearing a shirt that says "#newdad" while Jill is holding up a chalkboard that says, "39 Weeks 4 Days."

"A LOT has happened since June 21! I am blessed beyond measure and every day is even better with you baby! You're my best friend, and I love you with all my heart!" he wrote.
