After controversy struck TLC when reality show star Josh Duggar admitted to having molested five girls when he was a teenager (including four of his sisters), "19 Kids and Counting" got cancelled.

But now, reports have it that the reality TV show might find its way back on air sometime in the future.

TLC announced a spinoff series a few months back titled "Jill and Jessa: Counting On." The show will also employ the reality television format and will focus on Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald (as well as their husbands) as they adjust to their family life.

Several of the Duggar clan will also reportedly be making appearances on the spinoff show, including parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, and Anna Duggar (Josh's wife).

The Hollywood Gossip claims if "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" proves to be successful, then TLC will consider a full season contract with the two Duggar girls.

Other reports also say that if the spinoff is well-received, then a "19 Kids and Counting" reboot may be in the cards. A successful run of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" will show that there are still fans of the Duggar clan out there, which would be absolutely necessary for a reboot of the formerly hugely popular show.

However, there are also several people who are against the big family. A number of movements and Facebook pages have expressed disdain for both the network and the Duggar clan.

A certain Facebook page called "Take the Pledge Boycott All Discovery Channels" has been openly urging people not to patronize the show or its network.

The page implores, "Stand up and show your support against child sexual abuse and child abuse Boycott TLC and all Discovery Channels."

Another Facebook group called "No More Duggars" has already reportedly gotten over 800 brands and companies to agree not to run any ads during the spinoff show's run.

However, if the new show focusing on Jill and Jessa proves successful despite the opposition, "19 Kids and Counting" could make a comeback yet.

"Jill and Jessa: Counting On" will air three episodes this month, starting Dec. 13.
