Jesus Culture's Jake Hamilton to release new album

Jesus Culture’s Jake Hamilton is releasing his brand new album, Freedom Calling, on May 17.

Freedom Calling, out on Elevation Records, is the second full-length CD/DVD to be released by the Jesus Culture worship leader.

The album features 11 powerful new worship songs, three videos from the live recording at Jesus Culture Atlanta, and a 30-minute feature taking an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at Hamilton's life, music and ministry.

An artist and activist whose passion is to help raise up a generation to sing songs of revival, Hamilton desires to see God’s Kingdom manifest in power as his people encounter Him in worship.

Speaking about the project, he says: “I long to give the Body of Christ a language for reformation and revival through melodies that will be carried on for generation.”

Jesus Culture Director, Banning Liebscher, is excited about the release.

“The sounds and lyrics of this album, as well as the message that Jake carries, will captivate your heart and awaken a deep passion to pursue intimacy with Jesus while living with courage and boldness.

"Freedom Calling, is not only a journey of passionate worship, but a prophetic declaration that will awaken a generation to the love of God and the cause of Christ in the earth.”

Hamilton hails from Rancho Cucamonga, California, and records with Jesus Culture Music out of Bethel Church in Redding, California.

Freedom Calling follows the release of a series of Jesus Culture Music albums in the UK and Europe, including the latest live Jesus Culture album, Come Away, which was released to critical acclaim last November.
