The life of a celebrity is definitely hectic, but Jessica Robertson of the Duck Dynasty reality show reveals that it is still possible to instill faith in her family despite her busy schedule.

Jessica sat down with Christianity Today for a lengthy interview in which she revealed her secret for keeping her children and family centred on their faith.

First off, she said people should not see the responsibility as only their own. "One thing I encourage people is that it's not all on you," she revealed. "It takes a village, and I think you need to put your children around other Christian people."

This way, Robertson said she is certain that her children are exposed to the same rules and guidelines she has imposed on them when she is not with them.

Another action she took to keep her children God-fearing is to expose them to the Scripture, starting at home. "We have Scriptures up all over the house," she explained. "The fruit of the Spirit is up in our living room, and we try to talk about that almost daily."

Jessica told Christianity Today that it helped her train her children not only to keep doing good but also to be responsible enough to call out others who are going against Scripture.

Finally, she emphasised the importance of keeping the lines of communication open with the children, adding that when her kids start to question Jesus, she wants them to feel open enough to approach her and talk about it.

"It's important to keep the Scripture in your life and keep communication with your kids.... We're really open and honest about things people don't really want to talk about with their kids, and we do it in a nonchalant way," she said.

"If you don't make huge deals about things, the kids will not feel insecure or think they have to hide things in such a way that I know a lot of kids do," the Duck Dynasty star added.
