"19 Kids & Counting" star Jessa Seewald shared a thought-provoking message with over 900,000 followers on Instagram on Saturday. 

The new bride reminded her fans that life is short, and urged others to dedicate their life to Christ before it is too late. 

"The average person gets just 675,000 hours of life," Seewald wrote, quoting Evangelist Ray Comfort.

"That's all you have if you cross the road carefully, wear your seatbelt, and avoid diseases and everything else out there that is trying to kill you. But you will still die. 

"Your precious life is slipping through your fingers by the minute, and there is nothing you can do about it. However, there is something that God can do about it.

"Jesus said that if you seek to save your life, you will lose it, but if you lose it for His sake, you will find it. 

"In other words, yield your will to God's will. Surrender. Give up the battle. Give Him your life and you get to keep it. In other words, you can have your cake and eat it."

Seewald, 22, also included a link to the Living Waters' questionnaire at NeedGod.com, which urges visitors to examine whether they are headed to heaven or hell. 

The Duggar family appeared in the Living Waters video "19 Kids & Preaching," and practised open air evangelism under the direction of Comfort. Eldest son Josh boldly preached outside of the White House, while parents Michelle and Jim Bob spoke to students outside of a local university. 

Jessa's husband, Ben, aspires to become either a pastor or a missionary, and frequently shares spiritual messages with his fans on social media. Last week he posted a motivational sermon from Philippians 4:6-7, encouraging readers to trust God through difficult times. 

"Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God," Seewald wrote. "And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
