It looks like Jessa Duggar will be following the footsteps of her recently-wed sister Jill Dillard. Newly engaged couple Jessa and Ben Seewald will have a short engagement and has confirmed their wedding date.

Jessa and Ben have picked the date for their wedding and it will be on November 1. This isn't really a shock considering that the couple is following the Duggar clan's belief of engagement. According to Jana and Jinger Duggar, authors of "Growing Up Duggar," engagement should be short, but long enough to plan a wedding successfully. Jill and Jessa are keeping this close to heart.

Jessa doesn't look like she really needs a long engagement. She wants a simple wedding, like Jill's, because she wants to save time and money during the wedding planning. Jessa is planning to use Jill's wedding decorations, which is just two months old, so she could save money and plan less.

Jessa told People Magazine, "I think my wedding might be similar to Jill's in a lot of ways. I don't want to spend a whole bunch of money and buy a new set of decorations. We will save that money for the honeymoon."

Additionally, Jessa and Ben have confirmed their wedding registry at Bed, Bath and Beyond. The items Jessa registered were those of home decorations, basic household items and some weird items like mustache printed duct tape. Her home décor listings mostly have bright colors of red, blues and yellows. Clearly, she knows what she wants her home to look like. Also, she registered an S monogram doormat—S for Seewalds.

Now that the wedding date has been picked, wedding registry chosen, gift items registered and decors taken cared of, Jessa and Ben are just a few steps away from living happily ever after. Fans can hope to see the engagement and wedding details in "19 Kids and Counting" in the near future.
